Your life is leaving clues — are you seeing the pattern?
Have you ever felt like something just clicked — like you were standing in the exact moment you were meant to be in?
Not because you planned it or you pushed for it. But because something deeper was guiding you — a moment of alignment and connection that only made sense later.
Maybe it was a person you met by chance who ended up opening a door. Or a decision you made that felt oddly right, even if it didn’t make much sense at the time.
You may even have thought to yourself, “That’s not luck, it’s divine timing.”
And as life usually surprises you, it’s hard to see it while you’re in it.
Something interesting happened this week, when I took some time to look back on my life, I started noticing something I hadn’t seen before.
There was this repeating thread — moments where things aligned in a way I never could’ve orchestrated on my own.
The pattern wasn’t just the right place, right time; it was also those divine and kismet-like connections, and a chain of relationships and introductions. Looking back, it felt more like a well-woven and exotic quilt that I never could have created on my own…
What stood out the most were the times I said yes without knowing why. Or the people who showed up at the exact moment I needed a shift. The choices that seemed random at the time, yet opened doors I didn’t even know were waiting for me.
Have you ever had that happen to you? I’d love to hear it. 🙂
There was the time I found my way from high school shyness into a photojournalism path — where being the yearbook photographer led to becoming the managing editor. Then again, at LSU (which had over 25k students), I found myself elected to Editor-in-Chief of the yearbook. That wasn’t a strategy. That was alignment. It was divine timing, and also being open to the connections that unfolded one after another.
Then there was the moment I knew it was time to leave corporate altogether — because it was already leaving me. I got the call from my coach and mentor not to go back to corporate, and he’d help me build my marketing business if I helped him build his coaching business.
No dramatic exit. Just a quiet, deep knowing that it was time. That same familiar pull — divine timing, yet again. I was ready to build something of my own. Something grounded in connection, meaning, and using my gifts and talents.
These weren’t random events. They were part of a larger pattern that I had no clue about. And one I could only see by looking back. 🙂
It was the willingness to show up. To stay open. To say yes even when it was a little scary, or a lot unknown.
Have you ever been in this place too?
Having that still, small voice inside that keeps whispering, even when you’re not quite ready to listen.
If you look closely at your own life, maybe you’ll start to see it too. The people. The timing. The quiet voice — your intuition — that says, “this way.”
Not every step will make sense when you’re in it. Yet when you look back, the thread is there. The patterns. Divine timing. A network of connections weaving something far greater than anything you could have planned.
You don’t have to figure it all out. Just be present. Stay open. And trust that even now, something beautiful is unfolding.
Maybe the real secret is that your life was never random. It’s a mysteriously orchestrated masterpiece, still in motion.
And this moment? Right now?
You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

- This dog LOVES her rides in the car. God forbid she gets in the garage and the car doors open, she is not coming out! So I take her for a ride around the neighborhood. Yep, that’s what I do. 🙂
- I love this purple and white flower – “Night Sky Petunia.” I forgot how colorful spring is now that I’m back walking around the neighborhood again.
- I took my neighbor’s dog, Harley, and Emma for a walk – they just make it work, easy to walk them and get distracted by the views too.
- I certainly don’t see this very often – a turkey on the roof. It sure makes a lot of noise flying up there. It’s quite big.
- Perspective – the far away view of Emma at the kitchen banquet, making sure all her hair is on the cushions.
- There’s her close-up. I do love the iPhone camera; it makes taking pics and zooming in so easy and fun.
- Cloudy day for Shasta Bally. Storms were threatening, but no rain. It does make for a good pic, tho.
