Drones, Organic vs. Natural, & a Secret Mac Trick

This week I’m venturing into a smattering of cool things I’ve discovered that I thought it’d be fun to share with you.

Plus, I really do love to share interesting things I’m learning, resources, or just some fun stuff.

I learned about these three things from the three newsletters that I get in my inbox every day.

I’ve talked about one of them already The Hustle

. The other two are – Morning Brew and Stacked Marketer.

I highly recommend them all. Check them out and see for yourself. Oh, and they are all free too!

My favorite is The Hustle, though, cuz I can pick and choose my content for certain sections of their newsletter.

Now on to the three cool things…

#1 Did you know that this little town in Australia is the drone delivery capital of the world – Logan, Au? 

The drone company – Wings has been delivering over 100k packages to this city for two years now. 

It’s pretty darned cool – check out this video to see those delivery drones and happy people receiving them in action.  

They deliver coffee, food, and whatever else can fit in those incredible drone-like safe packages. 

The video shows the “drone port” where all the drones take off with their little packages that head off for delivery.

I wonder how long it will take to get something like this in the U.S. I think we might have too many trees and power lines. Yet, in the U.S., we do love a challenge.

#2 Let’s delve into the organic vs. natural labels on food packages debate.

Do you know the difference between organic vs. natural on food labels?

I had no idea until I watched this parody video which explained it so wonderfully and funny too.

Plus, I couldn’t help realizing that I’m in marketing. Yet, I don’t want to be associated with the “False Advertising Industry.” 

And what goes on with the deceptive packaging, especially in the cutthroat world of food and beverages. 

Honestly, I find their deceptive practices really shady and quite shameful. I’m sure I’ve been fooled before and now I will be more aware on my next trip to the grocery about those “shady” labels. 

Hopefully, someone will start cracking down on their deceptive practices.

#3 This was a really COOL find about my Apple Airpods.  Apparently, they have a magnet built-in, and you can hang them on your MacBook computer without losing them – WHAT?  

This will surely help save you from losing one of them.
